new mod Thread

I'm the Robenator. Could some one make me a mod that is single player. I want it to be about a CIA agent name James Ryan. His mission to take down a terrorest leader bend on taking over the world. You use everything from silenced weapons to Mini-Guns. If you want to make this mod for me plz tell me..

do you think that anybody will make you a mod just because youre requesting it?

a mod takes alot of work

and especialy completed singleplayer mods are very rare...

im been making a mod for nearly a year.
and it's not done at all

... not working man a mod is way too hard to just do for someone... why dont you learn how to make a mod? the world can never have enough modders... well unless the whole world was modders then the world could never have enough llama farmers or something... sorry im rambling

then could you tell me were i can get the tools to make a mod, and if there are mod makeing tutourals for it.

You didn't mention the game you want to mod for :o

well there are many area's of making a mod, the programming , modeling ,mapping, skinners, bleh blah this that

One person doesn't make a mod (for the most part). One team does. There are countless different things that need to be done, and lots and lots of talent needed on all parts. The tools vary from game to game, as do tutorials.

We need to make a sticky for these people who come in saying "I want to make a mod. Where do I learn?"

i'll get a team for the mapping and the modeling

and coding, well you need to learn C++ and the basicly open up the codes in HL and edit / add / delete to them :/

where do i learn this stuff

search google, you will need to become a programmer why do you got for the less hard jobs like modeler / mapper

i can't model or map

so i guess i'll try programming

and you cant program/code either, so er, /me shruggs

man just tell me where i can get programming tools and tutourtials
